Affects of Water Composition on Fish
Just like with humans, nutrients in water affect the lives and health of fish. In order to provide more stable and healthy fish at fish farms, what nutrients do you think are most beneficial to add to the water and why?
Fish need calcium, phosphorus, iodine and fluorine which are needed for the body's growth and repair. However, the water must contain enough oxygen in order for these fish to continue surviving just like humans. Without the oxygen, the pollution can get into the fish and cause death. Humans can consume the pollution and lead to death as well.
ReplyDeleteI believe that in order to provide more stable fish, we should put more protein and Vitamins: A, E, K, and B's, as well as calcium in the water. Protein and vitamin A helps development in fish, while other vitamins perform an entirely different job. Fish vitamin content deteriorates rather quickly, so regular doses of these nutrients should help stabilize their immune system as well as maintain a healthy digestion process.
ReplyDeleteFish need calcium to survive. We should also put better vitamins and proteiins in the water such as vitamins A, B, E and K. Fish need more vitamins than us humans because they get rid of them faster.
ReplyDeleteMany nutrients are important to have a stable enviroment. Calcium and vitamins are very important to have. Without nutrients fish would die off and water would be not liveable for organisms. So ther needs to have proper nutrients to provide a stable enviroment.
ReplyDeleteFish need vitamins to surive. Vitamins are one of the most important nutrients that every living organiam needs. Vitamins not only will give the fish strengh, but will help their body fight off many diseases and will also help with reproduction rates that could change a fish farm drastially.

ReplyDeleteVitamins are needed by the fish to help fight against disease. Protien helps the fish grow and have good health. Minerals, such as calcium, are important for healthy teeth, bones, and even scales.
ReplyDeleteWe need to provide the water with more nutrients and prootein but not to much because of eutrophication.
ReplyDeleteI believe that oxygen is one of the most important things taht fish need to survive and thrive. Without oxygen they would not be able to breathe.
ReplyDeleteOne of the most important things fish need to survive is oxygen because it helps them live and breathe. There are many different types of nutrients fish need to live in the water and if they get to much eutrophication may start to take a toll on our fish and waters.
ReplyDeleteFish need alot of things to survive but i think the most important thing they need to survive. Without oxygen fish would not be able to breathe and they would die.
ReplyDeleteFish need a lot of calcium and phosphorus, and smaller amounts of iron, iodine, magnesium, sodium, potassium, copper, and zinc. They are important for the development of scales, bones, and teeth.
ReplyDeleteI think there are two main factors that fish need and that is vitamins such as calcium and lots of oxygen.
ReplyDeleteJust like humans, fish need oxygen to breath but, also need calcium to build strong bones and teeth.
ReplyDeleteFish need vitamins jusat like humans. They meed vitamins to keep there bones strong and there bodies healthy. They need vitamins B, E, K, and A. They need these vitamins to stay healthy.
ReplyDeleteWell without the proper nutrients the fish cannot properly prosper. Also if they are just dying off, and we consume more than is being exported from these businesses we are going to put these animals into endangerment and even into extinction. Oxygen I would think would be the most important to add, just because its what the fish breathe and without Oxygen, can a fish live?
